Born out of passion and love of creating something different, Kennedy O’Brien Cakes was started in 2012 by Orla Kennedy O’Brien. Orla strives to take your inspirations and turn them in to edible art. She started with a BA in Hotel Management, which gave her a strong foundation in the catering industry, followed on by a Postgrad in Accounting which strengthened her business acumen. She has gone on to qualify in Diploma in Sugarpaste and Sugar Flowers from the cake industry’s acclaimed PME. Orla continues to upskill in all things cake decorating by keeping up with the newest techniques, attending courses and staying on top of the newest trends that hit the market, thus ensuring her customers get the highest standard of finished product.
