Hi, I'm Lauren and I began Buttercream Dream because I'm passionate about veganism, as well as being a total foodie. I became vegan myself at 16 years-old and I was amazed at the huge amount of vegan-friendly products on the market. Yet, I quickly realized we were really lacking in traditional-style desserts. Anything I could find was health based or raw, and I was longing for a good oul' decadent Coffee Walnut cake! I decided to leave the college course of my dreams at the time, to train to become a chef so I could bring vegan indulgence to the masses myself. I worked in various veggie/vegan establishments and the day I graduated, I moved to London to work in the UK's leading vegan bakery. One year ago, at the age of 21, I began Buttercream Dream. Since, I've catered to some of the biggest events in the country, and now produce my bakes for markets, retail, wholesale and events, all baked in my own personal commercial space. You'll find my bakes in multiple Dublin SuperValu stores, all Fresh branches, Avoca along with numerous cafes, restaurants and eateries around the place. Regardless of whether you're vegan, have allergies, or simple just love good cake - please don't hesitate to get in touch!
